First Buzz: 2020 Topps Finest baseball cards

What's buzz-worthy: Finest is back for another season on the ballfield with a familiar format but a number of new inclusions and players, too.

The Basics: The base set will consist of 100 cards with 25 short-prints atop that with the basic cards having a number of Refractor parallels -- standard, Purple (/250), Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors. For the 25 SPs there will be Gold, Red and Supers their only parallels just like last year. ... There will be four insert sets this year with The Man, Finest Duals, Finest Firsts and Finest Careers diecuts looking at the career of Ichiro Suzuki. The Man, a design from 1998, will have Gold (/50), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels and that same rainbow will be found for the others. Man cards are one in three packs, while Duals are one in six, Firsts are one in 12 and Careers are one in 48.

Autographs will include Finest Autos and Finest Firsts Variatons. These sets will have Blue (/150), Green (/99), Green Wave (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Orange Wave (/25), Red (/5), Red Wave (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels just like last year. Joining them will be six other autograph sets, including Finest Moments (with Gold, Orange, Red and Supers), The Man autos (with Orange, Red and Supers), Finest Duals (same three), Finest Careers (/10), Finest Originals (/20) and Finest Mystery Redemptions.
