What's buzz-worthy: Museum Collection takes the field once again with a familiar format but with a look that feels a little more high-end for this new summer of baseball cards.

The Basics: The format for this one is similar to past years with one framed autograph and one autographed jumbo Relic per case. ... The base set again will consist of 100 cards featuring past and present players with Copper, Sapphire (/150), Ameythst (/99), Ruby (/50) and Emerald (1/1) parallels just like previous years. ... There also will be Canvas Collection Originals 1/1 art cards as well as shaped 1/1 sketch cards, too. Another new twist? Canvas Collection Originals Player Autos that add autographs to the sketches. ... Inked cards will include Archival Autographs for as many as 100 players with on-card sigs limited to no more than 200 copies. These will have Copper (/50), Gold (/25) and 1/1 Emerald cards. There also will be Superstar Showpieces (/25) as well as dual-autos (/15) and then triple-auto cards (/5). Framed autos also will be in play here with Silver (/15), Gold (/10), Black (/5) and 1/1 Wood parallels. For auto-Relics, there will be 1/1 framed patches and framed dual-auto patch books (also 1/1s) and then Momentous Material jumbo patch autos (/15) that will have Gold (/5) and 1/1 Emerald versions. Joining those will be Momentous Materials dual jumbo patch book autos (/5) with 1/1 Emeralds as well as single-player dual-Relic autos (/399) with Copper (/50), Gold (/25) and 1/1 Emerald versions. New this time around will be Autographed Jumbo Lumber Bat Relics (/5 max) with 1/1 Emeralds. Also in play will be single-player signature swatches triple Relics (/399) with Copper (/50), Gold (/25) and 1/1 Emeralds.

On the Relic front, there will be Meaningful Materials (/50 max) with Copper (/35), Gold (/25), Ruby (/10) and Emerald (1/1) parallels as well as duals (/50 max) that have Copper, Ruby and Emeralds to the same volume, too. There also will be Momentous Materials Jumbo Patches (/5) with 1/1 Emerald parallels as well as Museum Memorabilia, Jumbo Lumber Bat Nameplates and Laundry Tags -- all 1/1 cards. The Quad Relics lineup will include Primary Pieces (/99, one player, four pieces) with Copper (/75), Gold (/25) and Emerald 1/1 parallels just like last year as well as Legends (/25) with Gold (/10) and Emerald (1/1) cards. Four-player Primary Pieces will group players with common ties also with the same parallel rainbow.
