What's buzz-worthy: Minor League Baseball's first release of the new year gets a new format change and some new inclusions -- including Chrome parallel cards only found in new jumbo boxes.

The Basics: The basic set will consist of 200 cards with parallels that will include Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black. There also will be image variations for some players with those having just 1/1 Black parallels. Chrome parallels will include Refractors (/99) as well as Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors. ... Inserts will include Copa de La Diversion series cards with 1/1 Black parallels as well as Ready For Flight, Tape-measure Power and a card of the Make Your Pro Debut contest winner from last year. The Flight cards will have Green (/99), Orange (/25), 1/1 Black and autographed standard versions (/TBD) as well as 1/1 Black versions. Tape Measure cards will only have Black parallels and the two auto versions. ... Autographs will include standard versions as well as Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black versions as well as Future Cornerstones autos that will have Orange and Black versions. ... On the Relic front, there will again be Fragments of The Farm Relics with Green, Gold, Red and Black parallels (same volume) along with Distinguished Debut Medallions and Copa de La Diversion Relics. The Medallions will have Gold, Red, Black and auto (/10) versions at same volumes.. Copy cards will have the same but no ink. ... New this time will be jumbo patch Relics (/15) with 1/1 Black and autographed (/5) versions.
