What's buzz-worthy: Triple Threads is back with some new looks, some new players but the same formula that's heavy on the hits with some of the strongest MLB booklets out there.

The Basics: Each box will include one autographed Triple Relic (/99 or less), one Triple Relic Card (/36 or less), one autographed rookie or auto jumbo Relic (/99 or less) and jumbo Relic (/36 or less) using the familiar two-pack format of past years. ... The 100-card base set will include a rainbow of nine parallels -- Amethyst (/299), Emerald (/259), Amber (/199), Gold (/99), Citrine (/75), Onyx (/50), Sapphire (/25) and 1/1 Ruby as well as printing plates just like last year. ... Autographed Rookies and Future Phenom Relics will be limited to 99 copies with Amethyst (/75), Emerald (/50), Onyx (/35), Sapphire (/10) and 1/1 Wood, Ruby and printing plates. Rookie autos will have a basic version (/TBD) along with Emerald (/50), Gold (/25), Sapphire (/10) and 1/1 Ruby versions as well as printing plates.

For other auto-Relic cards, there will be Combos with three players (/36) with Amethyst (/27), Emerald (/18), Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby as well as printing plates just like in the past. Standard Auto Relics will be limited to 18 copies with Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby, Wood and plates. Joining them will be Jumbo Plus books that have one jumbo patch and two patch pieces along with an auto (/3) wth 1/1 Ruby parallels as well as Letter Plus (same but with a letter) just like last year. New this time around will be Historic Ties Triple Auto Relics (/9) with Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby parallels as well as Touch 'em All cards with autographs and pieces of game-used bases at the same volumes. Also back are auto Deca Relic books once again with one player getting 10 swatches and ink on cards limited to 10 copies. These will have Gold (/5) and 1/1 Ruby parallels just like last year. The same parallels will apply for the 10-player cards. Windows into Greatness Auto Relic Books also are back with one player on a three-panel card with base versions limited to five and then Gold (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions. Rounding out these will be 1/1 Cut Above cut auto Relics as well as duals that showcase two players' ink and mem.

For Relics, there will be two new ones -- Touch 'em All Base Relics (/18) and Historic Ties (/9) cards. The base cards will have Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions, while the other set skips the Gold. Triple Threads Relics and Legends cards start at 36 copies per card and have Amethyst (/27) Emerald (/18), Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby parallels for both. The same will apply for the Relic Combos. Jumbo Relics (/36) will have the same parallels, while auto Relics will start at 99 and have Amethyst (/75) Emerald (/50), Gold (/25), Sapphire (/10) and 1/1 Ruby parallels.

There are a number of books to be found here -- many but not all being 1/1 creations. All-Star Patches (/9) will have 1/1 Ruby parallels, while there also will be 1/1 jumbo patch books, team patch books, laundry tag books, Majestic logo patch books, bat nameplate books, bat knob books, jumbo patch combo books and jumbo letter/logo/number books. Other books will include jumbo plus (/3) with Ruby versions as well as letter plus (/3) with Ruby. Last but not least there will be Windows into Greatness (/10) with Gold (/5) and Ruby versions and deca combo books (/10) also with Gold and Ruby versions to chase.
