What's buzz-worthy: This annual staple will arrive with a slightly different lineup of inclusions with this year's All-Star Game cards replaced by past looks and Relics from previous years (2013-19) and other notable additions being a set of prospect insert cards and tribute sets for New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter.

The Basics: The base set will once again consist of 300 cards -- a mix of veterans and traded players, rookies, leaders, player combos as well as All-Stars and Home Run Derby greats from the past. Each will have at least 12 parallels with rainbow foil, gold foil, Gold (/2,020), vintage stock (/99), Independence Day (/76), Black (/69), Mother's Day Hot Pink (/50), Father's Day Powder Blue (/50), Memorial Day Camo (/25), Clear (/10) and 1/1 Platinum as well as printing plates. Gold foil will be hobby jumbo only while Black parallels and Clears will only be found in hobby packs just like previous releases this year. There also will be short-printed variations and also rarer SSPs to chase.

New for this year will be a 30-card No. 1 Prospect set showcasing notables for every team with MiLB uniforms getting the spotlight here on the 1989 Topps design. They will all have Blue, Black (/299), Gold (/50), Red (/10) and 1/1 Platinum parallels and some will have autographs (/25 max) t0 chase. Also among the inserts will be Decades' Best once again with unique looks for each decade from the 1950s to the 2010s with the best teams, hitters, pitchers and award-winners getting the nod. These will have Blue ("limited"), Black (/299), Gold (/50), Red (/10) and 1/1 Platinum parallels as well as autographs (/25 max) for some players. New for this one will be 20 Years of The Captain -- a Derek Jeter tribute set -- with the same parallels and autographs that will be 1/1 cards. Also new here will be A Numbers Game cards -- retired jersey numbers -- with the same parallels. There also will be a batch of 1985 Topps inserts with Blue, Black, Gold, Red and Platinum versions, too, while there will be 1/1 sketch cards and box-topper patch cards for 50 notable cards from 2020 Topps.

Jeter gets a run on a pair of manufactured Relics sets, the first being 20 Years of The Captain Commemorative Patches -- with Black (/50), Gold (/25), Red (/10) and 1/1 Platinum versions as well as 1/1 autos -- and the second is Jeter's Final Season Commemorative Patches with the same lineup except autographs are /25 or less. For autographed Relics, there will be Topps Reverence patch autos (/10) with Red (/5) and 1/1 Platinum versions as well as Major League Material Autographs (/50) with Red (/25) and Platinum parallels. This year's All-Star Stitches autos will still showcase stars from "The Midsummer Classic" but with memorabilia from past years, 2013-19. Base auto-Relics there will be /25 with Red (/10) and 1/1 Gold versions and then there will be duals (same volume) and jumbo patch autos (/10) with Red and Gold versions. For autographs, there will be Baseball Stars with Black (/199), Gold (/50), Red (/25) and 1/1 Platinum versions as well as duals (/5 max) as well as a new batch of 1985 autos with the same lineup for the singles. There also will be 1/1 cut autos to chase showing past greats.

For Relics, there will be Major League Material cards with Black (/199), Gold (/50), Red (/25) and 1/1 Platinum parallels and there also will be All-Star Stitches Relics using workout jerseys from 2013-19 with Silver (/50), Red (/25) and 1/1 versions as well as jumbo patches (/5) with a 1/1 Gold as well as duals (/25) and triples (/25). The Own The Name Relic also return here as 1/1 cards.

Silver packs also are back inside boxes -- one per hobby, two per jumbo -- with past and present players, rookies, parallels and autographs in the mix all using the 1985 Topps design.
