What's buzz-worthy: Obsidian arrives on the hardwood for its fourth season with the top NBA rookies and plenty more to be found as part of this sometimes-colorful release.

The Basics: There will be two inserts or parallel cards per box along with the base cards and hits. ... In the mix this time will be rookie jersey autos, Aurora and Galaxy autos along with Rookie Eruption autos -- ink here will be /149 or less, according to Panini, with stars from the past as well as the present signing on. Among the inserts will be Volcanix and Vitreous, die-cuts that will be "super short-printed" finds along with Magnitude, Pitch Black, Tunnel Vision and Supernova cards. ... Among the parallels will be Electric Etch Purple (/99), Electric Etch Orange (/50), Electric Etch Green (/25), Electric Etch Yellow (/10), Electric Etch Red (/5) and 1/1 Electric Etch White Mojo and new "super short-printed" Electric Etch Blue Flood cards. ... Boxes once again will carry a suggested retail price of $175.
