What's buzz-worthy: Prizm arrives with a new crop of college stars and new draft picks on the hardwood as part of the familiar formula of the last few years.

The Basics: There will be 12 parallel cards per box here -- four Silvers and eight other parallels -- along with the autos and then four insert cards and base. ... The base set will be 100 cards with plenty of parallels (see gallery) and there will be photo variations in there, too. Among the inserts will be Fireworks, Widescreen, Instant Impact, Flashback Prizms, and "ultra-rare" Color Blast and Stained Glass cards. ... Among the autos will be Draft Picks, College Penmanship and Sensational Signatures cards. ... Packs will carry an increased suggested retail price of $50 ($200 per box).

Update (Nov. 11): There will be eight-card Choice boxes made for this one with a suggested retail price of $175 (20 boxes per case) arriving on Jan. 26. They will include five Choice parallels, two Silver Prizms and one autograph. Parallels possible here are noted in the gallery below. There also will be H2 boxes for this one with the Circles pattern the reigning one there. Those 25-card boxes (SRP $135) will have five packs with one auto, two Silvers, two inserts and five other parallels with exclusives noted in the gallery. All three autograph sets will be in play here with at least Nebula, Purple and Pink among the parallels.
