What's buzz-worthy: Panini's colorful pattern-filled brand arrives for another run on the court with plenty of parallels, new looks for veterans and, of course, plenty of Rookie Cards.

The Basics: There will be four rookies, four inserts and eight parallels per box just like last year. Autograph volumes per case were not announced. The base set size was not revealed but some of the parallels will include Astro, Groove, Fractal, Impact (/149), Cosmic (/99), NBA 75th Anniversary (/75), Sunburst (/60), Cubic (/50), Lava (/10) and Galactic. ... Among the rarer inserts will be Star Factor and Prime Time Performers cards while other insert sets will include Vortex, Rookie Revolution, Shock Wave, Supernova and Liftoff! cards. ... Among the autos will be rookies and veterans with Fractal (/100), Infinite (/25), and 1/1 Kaleido parallels for starters. ... Boxes carry an increased suggested retail price of $100.
