What's buzz-worthy: Bowman returns for 2021 with the familiar lineup and packaging but some new inclusions, too, as prospecting cardboard keeps on keeping on despite no MiLB action this year.

The Basics: The base sets will include 100 stars and rookies as well as 150 prospects just like 2020 with each of them having a familiar rainbow of parallels. The rundown for both includes Sky Blue (/499), Purple (/250), Blue (/150), Yellow (/75) Gold (/50), Orange (/25; hobby-only), Red (/5) and 1/1 Platinum as well as printing plates -- the same as this year. ... The dicecut card you see up top? That's a Prospector's Special Variation (/49) that joins a Chrome lineup that has Atomic (one per hobby box), standard Refractor (/499), Speckle (/299), Purple (/250), Blue (/150), Blue Shimmer (/150), Aqua (/125), Aqua Shimmer (/125), Yellow (/75), Gold (/50), Gold Shimmer (/50), Orange (/25; hobby-only), Orange Shimmer (/25; hobby-only), Red (/5), Red Shimmer (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors as well as printing plates. ... The insert lineup will include Top 100 (six per hobby box), Futurist (four per) and ROY Favorites cards (three per). Each will have Atomic (/150), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Supers. Joining them will be 1991 Bowman (three per), Talent Pipeline (two per) and Positional Promise (one per). with the same parallels. Oranges will be hobby-only finds.

Chrome Prospect and Rookie autos, which combine to be found one per box, have similar rainbows but the prospects once again include more. For prospects, there will be Refractors (/499), Speckle (/299), Purple (/250), Blue (/150), Atomic (/100), Yellow (/75), Gold (/50), Gold Shimmer (/50), Orange (/25), Orange Shimmer (/25), Red (/5), Red Shimmer (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors and printing plates. Rookies will have Refractor, Blue, Atomic, Yellow, Gold, Orange, Red and Supers as well as plates. ... Also in there for autographs will be Positional Promise autos (/99), with Orange, Red and Super parallels along with 1991 Bowman Autos (/TBD) with only a Superfractor parallel and some players will have Top 100 autos also only with Supers. Other ink to come will be ROY Favorites (/150) with Gold, Orange, Red and Supers, a selection of dual-prospect autos (/25) with Supers. There will be 10 Ultimate Autograph Book Cards to be found, prep All-American game autos (/199) and 1991 Bowman Buyback autos, too.

Exclusive to the jumbo boxes will be Aqua Refractor Prospect parallels as well as Aqua Shimmers (both /125).
