What's buzz-worthy: Donruss' format stays the same as it hits the gridiron once again with plenty of Rookie Cards, inserts and more in every box.

The Basics: Hobby boxes will include 18 Rated Rookies and 12 parallels along with 42 insert cards. ... The base set will include 250 veterans -- 50 with no-helmet photo variations -- and 100 Rated Rookies. Each will be paralleled -- see the details in the gallery. ... Among the inserts will be The Rookies, The Elite Series (and The Elite Series Rookies), The Champ is Here, Road to the Super Bowl, Fans of the Game, Retro 2001 and Power Formulas. Joining them will be some rarer inserts -- Marvels, Rated Rookies Premium, Downtown! and Night Moves. ... One hobby-only feature will be auto-mem parallels in the Jersey Kings, Leather Kings, Rookie Phenom Jersey Autographs and All Pro Kings sets. Other hits will include retro 2001 autographs. ... Packs will carry an increased suggested retail price of $8.33 ($149.94 per box). Note: Rookies shown here are just mocks using last year's rookies.
