What's buzz-worthy: Certified hits the gridiron once again with the same hits volume as last year and plenty of the familiar foilboard feels for the long-running brand that will include new rookies' memorabilia cards, ink and more.

The Basics: There will be one Freshman Fabric Signature card per box along with one other auto and two memorabilia cards just like past years. There also will be two Rookie Cards or rookie parallels per box like previous years as well with 10 other insert cards among the typical box's mix. ... The base set will consist of 100 cards (parallels noted below) with 100 more RCs after that. ... Among the hits will be the Freshman Fabric cards with team logos, nameplates and 1/1 NFL Shields in the mix. New this year are Pieces of The Game cards with footballs, gloves and jerseys in the card, while other new ink includes Canton Certified sigs. A traditional find here will be Mirror Signatures cards for 100 players. ... Among the inserts will be Dark Horses (award contenders), Certified Air (a short-printed insert) as well another trio of rarities -- Scoring Machines, Certified Air and Certified Ground. ... Boxes will carry an increased suggested retail price of $175. ... Note: Rookie Cards here are mocks using last year's players.
