What's buzz-worthy: Panini's all-in-one brand arrives for a third season with some new touches -- like Plates & Patches above -- and updates some of this year's releases.

The Basics: Beyond the hits here, there will be four serial-numbered parallel cards, 26 inserts and two silver parallels. ... Rookies get NFL jersey updates on Optichrome-stock versions in Score and Legacy Update, while other finds will include Dynagon Rookies, Prizm Black, Panini, Gridiron Kings, Crown Royale, Timeless Treasures, Playoff Momentum and Clear Vision for starters. New inclusions will be Flux Rookies, Plates & Patches, Invincible and Magnitude cards. ... The Chronicles base set will include stars from the past and present with some parallels exclusive to particular pack formats (see parallels for everything that was announced in the gallery below). ... Boxes once again will carry a suggested retail price of $175.

Update (May 23): There also will be H2 boxes for this release arriving on July 15 with six packs per box (20 boxes per case) and a suggested retail price of $90. These will include one Silver parallel, four Opichrome cards, four acetate cards, 10 exclusive Crown Royale inserts and a pair of serial-numbered parallels. Parallels are noted in the second list in the gallery.
