What's buzz-worthy: Contenders drops for another run around the bases with an autograph in every pack and plenty of young stars and new draft picks all in play here.

The Basics: These 18-card packs will include a mix of inserts and parallels as always with an autograph in every pack and a box including a total of 18 Optic base or parallel cards and a whopping 24 inserts or insert parallels. ... There will be Rookie Ticket and Rookie Ticket 2 cards to chase here with ink with A and B variations atop that as well. There also will be Draft Tickets, Prospect Tickets as well as 1998 and 2000 Retro Rookie Ticket autos to chase. Each will have parallels that were not detailed in advance but will include Cracked Ice, Diamond and Building Block textures to start. ... Among the inserts will be "ultra rare" Gold Rush cards as well as Winning Tickets, Ticket to Stardom, Legendary Contenders and Season Ticket Optichrome cards. ... These once again will carry a suggested retail price of $20 per pack ($120 per box).
