What's buzz-worthy: Legacy returns with its varying mix of Optichrome, mini, Dare to Tear cards and more as it celebrates the stars of the NFL past, present and future.

The Basics: Each box of this one includes 32 Rookie Cards, two mini cards, four numbered parallels, 12 inserts, two mini Optichromes and four Optichromes atop the autos. Dare to Tear cards will be found one per inner case. ... The base set here will be 200 cards with 100 veterans, 40 legends and 60 rookies with each card having a large array of parallels (see gallery) that will include Optichrome, autographs and more. ... Among the inserts will be Decade of Dominance, Under The Lights and Generations. Among the hits will be Futures patch and dual-patch autos as well as Futures dual autos and Legacy patch autos. Rip cards will include subsets for Hall of Famers, rookies (mocks used here) and MVPs among them with parallels all limited to no more than 10 copies -- Amethyst, Onyx and Gold Vinyl among them. There also will be Dare to Tear mini parallels. ... Rookies will have variation cards to chase as well. ... These carry an increased suggested retail price of $6 per pack or $96 per box. Note: Rookies here are mocks using last year's players.
