What's buzz-worthy: Luminance arrives on the NFL gridiron for a fourth time and it's got a similar approach to past editions but with a new crop of rookies (last year's players in some mocks here) and more waiting to be found.

The Basics: Boxes of this one will include five parallels, four inserts and 12 Rookie Cards in a typical break atop the hits just like previous years. The parallels (see gallery) will include eight versions per base and RC and there will be parallels across the inserts, too. ... Among the hits will be Portrait autos, jersey autos, Illuminated Ink and jumbo Platinum memorabilia cards. There also will be Year One Signatures in single and duals (last year's rookies on some mocks here) with red, green and purple autos. ... Among inserts will be Radiance, Far Out, Moments, Jubilee and Rising. ... These will carry a suggested retail price of $125 per box.
