What's buzz-worthy: National Treasures goes back to school for another season with some added color in the design as it showcases a new crop of stars.

The Basics: There will be one base card or parallel per box along atop the hits in each box -- and there is one more on that front this year. (Last year's boxes were posted as having six hits and two base/parallel cards.) The base set details were not released this year. ... The menu looks similar to past years and there will be on-card autos to chase, too. Among the hits will be Materials autos, Silhouette autos and dual autos for starters. There also will be materials signature booklets but none were visually teased in advance of this one's arrival. Parallels were not detailed in advance for this one but card mocks include Platinum, Emerald and Gold versions while prime patches and logo variations also will be in play. ... Boxes carry an increased suggested retail price of $500.
