What's buzz-worthy: Origins' sixth season on the gridiron arrives with some new touches within the familiar format that add some differing types of artistic flair in this one as well as players shown in their NFL uniforms for the first time -- no Photoshopped updates this time.

The Basics: One new inclusion found on the case-hit level are Aboriginal inserts that showcase "the NFL’s top stars printed over an early indigenous-style pattern." ... The base set here will include 100 cards for top veterans with a number of parallels that are detailed in the gallery below. Those will be found twice per box along with two base cards with the hits. ... Among the hits will be Passing Stars, Rushing Stars and Receiving Stars autos with top rookies getting the ride there -- and some will have added inscriptions. Joining them will be rookie jumbo patch autos, rookie autos (on-card sigs) and Origins autos with gold and silver metallic-ink autos. Among the booklets will be rookie patch autos and dual-patch signatures cards. ... New autos will include Established Signatures and Origins of Greatness booklets. ... Boxes carry an increased suggested retail price of $150. ... Note: Some Rookie Card mocks here are shown using last year's players.

Update: There will be seven-pack International blaster boxes of this one (SRP $45) that include 35 cards per box (20 boxes per case) and include Green rookie parallels as well as other standard RC parallels (see gallery) all only found here. Inserts will include a rare insert called How it Started vs. How it’s Going as well as Catapaults cards. There also will be a case-hit insert called Big Bang. Hits will be in play here (not guaranteed) with the typical box including 14 base cards, 14 rookies, two parallels and five inserts.
