What's buzz-worthy: USA Baseball's baseball cards once again arrive showcasing the best of the amateur ranks as well as some legends of the past all in one spot with some new inclusions this year -- Whammy! -- to add to the chase.

The Basics: A box once again will include a mix of 30 base cards and five parallels in addition to the hits. This one will showcase players from the National Development Program, 13U National Team, 15U National Team, 18U National Team and the Collegiate National Team all in one spot. Autos once again will be in play for members of the National Development Program up to the Collegiate National Team with the standard Blue, Red and Green ink parallels as well as memorabilia cards and more. Eight notable alumni will sign on, too. ... The base set will include just the 15U, 18U and Collegiate National Teams. ... New this time will be rare Whammy! inserts with "a checklist full of former USA Baseball greats and Hall of Famers." ... Among three other hits will be Prime Signatures, USA Baseball Materials jerseys and patches and Silhouette Signatures. ... Boxes will once again carry a suggested retail price of $75 ($15 per pack).
