What's buzz-worthy: Artist Keith Shore takes on the 1989 Bowman set -- at least in the pose of the Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie Card -- with a four-wave set released online beginning today.

The Basics: Each card will carry the same pose with 10 cards per $19.99 box and boxes will be available for only seven days (or while supplies last) via Topps.com. Parallel cards found as part of the chase here include Green (/99), Purple (/25), Red (/10), Orange (/5) and 1/1 Gold and there will be a Griffey chase card limited to only 100 copies. ... Autographs are being sold separate from wax and framed Artist Proof cards limited to 89 copies ($99.99) -- also separately sold throughout each week of each wave (Fernando Tatis Jr. in gallery as an example). Those are seen in the gallery below. ... Half of Wave 1 is veterans, while the second half is RC and even top prospects Jasson Dominguez and Wander Franco.
