What's buzz-worthy: Big League returns -- and the toys are back, too -- for a new year of MLB action with a number of new inclusions adding to this collector-friendly brand.

The Basics: The base set once again will consist of 300 cards with Orange parallels found one per pack and they'll be joined by Rainbow Foil (/100), Black & White (/50), Blue (/25), Black (/15) and 1/1 Red Foil parallels. ... The Blue and Black cards are new this year. Also new for this one are a number of insert sets not previously seen -- Souvenirs (sluggers who gift fans home run balls), Home Team Traditions, Wanted, Art of The Game and Defensive Wizards. Each of those save for the Traditions cards are one in four packs. ... For autographs, there will be five sets found here -- Big League, Opening Act, Souvenirs, Wanted and Defensive Wizards. The first two will include Electric Orange parallels (/99) as well as 1/1 Red versions. The others will be limited to only 25 copies. ... The Super7 action figures are back for 10 players with a 1983 Topps package for the basic toys. These will have a 1/1 Gold chase figure as well as image variations (one in 10 boxes) also with their own 1/1 version. Found one in four boxes will be a 1959 Topps packaging design also with 1/1s and variations there being one in 20 boxes. Those, too, will have a Gold 1/1 version.
