What's buzz-worthy: MLS cardboard gets Chromed for 2021 with a meaty base set, a hit in every box and even some nods to the past.

The Basics: The base set will be 200 cards with each of them having nine Refractor parallels -- standard (three per box), Speckle (one per box; hobby-only), Aqua (/299), Blue Wave (/199), Neon Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red Wave (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors. Some cards will have photo variations with those only having Gold, Orange (hobby-only), Red and Superfractor parallels at the same volumes. ... Future Stars inserts will be rare finds -- just two per case -- with Gold, Orange, Red and Superfractor versions at the same volumes while 1975-76 Topps Footballers will be found three times per box. That colorful design will have Aqua (/99), Green (/75), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels. Joining them will be Celebration FC inserts for top scorers reacting to goals (four per box) and Big-city Strikers (two per box). here will have the same parallels as the 1975s. ... The autographs will have just three hobby-only parallels -- Orange (/25), Red Wave (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors.
