What's buzz-worthy: Gypsy Queen hits the field once again with a familiar format but some new looks and new players in the mix as this vintage re-do keeps on exploring a new vintage feel for MLB fans.

The Basics: Among the new touches here? Image variations for the Negro Leagues Centennial Celebrations games with 1/1 Black parallels the only other version of those cards to be found. The base set will once again be 300 cards -- a mix of rookies and veterans with a few new parallels. Among them will be Burnt Umber (/399), Orange (/300), missing nameplate, Indigo (/250) Blue (/150), Sepia (/99), Black & White (/50), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black parallels. There also will be some short-printed cards atop the 300 cards found just one per box along with Roberto Clemente Day and Jackie Robinson Day variations. Those will have only Black parallels like the Negro Leagues cards. The SPs, however, will only have missing nameplate, Blue and Black parallels. ... For inserts there will be 30 Captains Minis (one per team, four per box) with Indigo and Black parallels and those same parallels will be the only ones found for Tarot of the Diamond cards (three per box). There also will be new 1/1 Tarot of the Diamond art variation cards that will incorporate artists' takes into those cards that are found. ... For autographs there will be GQ autos with Indigo (/150), Blue (/99), Black & White (/50) and 1/1 Black versions. Joining them will be Rookie Minis (/99) with B&W and Black parallels only as well as Captains Mini autos (/TBD) with Black versions. Some Jackie Robinson Day variations also will have autos (/TBD) with B&W and Black parallels. ... For auto Relics there will be Autographed Garments, (/50), patch book autos (/20) Pull-up Sock Auto Relics (/10) and 1/1 lineup card autos. The first three sets will only have Black parallels that are all 1/1 creations. ... Rounding things out will be three-card Chrome box-topper packs with Indigo (/150), Blue (/99), Gold (/50), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels to be found as well as autographs (/25) and 1/1 Superfractor autos.
