What's buzz-worthy: Collectors can turn back the clock to 1972 once again this fall with this trip down to the minor leagues where baseball's hopefuls get a big-league look on this popular line -- and this year there are two autos per box, but no Relics.

The Basics: There will be 18 packs per box along with a three-card 1972 poster cards box-topper pack this year. The basic set once again will consist of 200 cards and this year that includes In Action and Traded subsets and then 20 SPs atop that falling three per box. Base parallels will include Blue (/99), new Green (/75), Black (/50), Gold (one per case) and 1/1 Red cards, while there also will be spme players with image variation cards. ... Inserts will include Venezuelan Stamp cards modeled after the 1972 set, 1972 Topps Pack Cover cards (wrapper design translated into cards) and Boyhood Photos of the Stars (three per box for this one, four per box for the others). ... The Real One autographs will be found in standard form with Blue (/99), Black (/50), new Black & Blue (/25) and 1/1 Red parallels. There also will be dual (/20) and image variation autos (/50) as well as 1972 Pack Cover autos (/50) that will have 1/1 Red parallels. ... The previously mentioned poster box-topper packs also will have 1/1 Foilfractor parallel cards randomly inserted.
