What's buzz-worthy: Transcendent returns with its Hall of Fame focus and this time includes even more rare cards showcasing legends from Cooperstown's ranks as well as some new twists not seen in Transcendent releases in the past.

The Basics: This year's set will include two 1/1 Through the Years autographed cards in every box -- with two subjects this year, Nolan Ryan and Randy Johnson, on past designs. Some cards will include both Hall of Famers' autographs. Joining those will be a Hall of Fame Icons 1/1 autograph, a 1/1 sketch card from artist James Fiorentino, a 1/1 oversized or Hall of Fame combo cut signatures card, a 1/1 1956 Topps Superfractor, a 1/1 oversized 1989 Topps Big Framed auto and the basic autos this time -- 40 of them -- will include two 1/1 parallels and at least one dual-auto card. Each box also will, of course, include a VIP party invitation. Just 50 boxes will be made. ... Among the cut autographs will be Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehrig, Ted Williams, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese and others all grouped with teammates or common ties. There also will be cuts beyond just MLB legends. The standard autographs (/20) will have Emerald (/5) and 1/1 Red as well as 1/1 Platinum parallel cards. There also will be image variation autos for all players on a different design to the same volumes. Co-Signers (/15) will have the same parallels. The Ryan and Johnson 1/1 cards will showcase them on 45 past designs, while 10 cards will be 1/1 dual-auto creations.
