What's buzz-worthy: The finale for Topps' 70th anniversary flagship brand arrives with some new nods to the past, in-season highlights and more.

The Basics: The base set will include 330 cards -- traded stars, rookies, veterans, and more -- and each card will have Rainbow foil, Gold foil, Gold (/2,021), Vintage (/99), Independence Day (/76), Black (/70) Platinum Anniversary (/70), Mother's Day (/50), Father's Day (/50), Memorial Day (/25), Clear (/10 for 100 players) and 1/1 printing plates as well as a 1/1 70th Anniversary parallel just like in previous series this year. Also in play will be the Green (/499), Orange (/299) and Red (/199) parallels that arrived as surprises along with base card variations.

Among the inserts will be another group of 70 Years of Topps (past and present players on past designs) with autos (/10) possible for some players. Joining them will be 1986 Topps cards as well as a nod to 1993 Topps Black Gold which Topps calls "the first modern-day insert set." The Black Gold cards will have Blue, Black (/299), Platinum (/70), Red (/10) and 1/1 Gold versions as well as autographs (/10 max). The 1986s will have the same but without ink. Joining them will be Platinum Players die-cuts, new Topps Cards That Never Were, Topps Tek 70th anniversary cards and sketch cards. Platinum and Never Were cards will have the full array of parallels, while the Tek acetate cards will not have any but are found two per jumbo box only. ... Manufactured Relics will include Commemorative All-Star Game sleeve patch cards with Black (/199), Gold (/50), Red (/10) and 1/1 Platinum versions as well as autographs (/10 max).

For autographs, there will be Baseball Stars (past and present) with Black, Gold, Red and Platinum parallels (same volumes) as well as duals (/5 max). There also will be 1986 Topps autos with on-card sigs and Black, Gold, Red and Platinum parallels. A batch of 1/1 cut autos will also be found here. ... Standard Relics will include Major League Materials with Black, Gold, Red and Platinum parallels as well as Own The Name 1/1 nameplate letters and Topps Reverence autographed patch cards (/10) with Red (/5) and 1/1 Platinum parallels. Last will be Major League Material autos (/50 max) with Red (/25) and 1/1 Platinum parallels.
