What's buzz-worthy: Wild Card's Matte release gets what looks like a more-affordable hits-free version that's loaded with exclusives and continues the dual-box (black or white) approach. There's still a ton of rare cards to chase, though, via Chase Packs mixed into this release.

The Basics: There once again will be Black and White boxes with each having either Red or Blue Chase Packs with rarer cards inside. ... The base card inclusions were not detailed here but should follow the previous release. ... Among the cards only found here will be Bronze Weekend Warriors cards, Pink X-Plode cards, Red Holo Red Hot Rookies, Smoking Guns and Stripes cards. ... Stripe cards will be found for 70 players on base cards with six different stripes (see gallery for details) and their six Chase versions being even more limited. Red Hot Rookie cards will be found for 25 players in 11 colors also with their own rarer Chase versions in 11 colors. Smoking Guns will be found for 10 players with new colors here and each will have 11 versions from 199 copies down to 10 copies per card with 11 more Chase versions limited to 20 or less. Weekend Warriors will be found for 35 players and will have 10 Prism parallels all rarer than 50 copies while Chase cards are limited to no more than five. The X-Plode cards will have 25 players on the checklist with 11 versions per card and 11 more Chase versions.
