What's buzz-worthy: Recon gets a third NBA release with what Panini says is "a large selection of autograph, insert and parallel content" as part of a colorful package that also includes some new rare-card chases.

The Basics: Boxes of this one will include 60 cards and those will include 20 parallels or inserts atop the ink. ... Base and rookie parallels will include Holo, Bronze (/299), Red (/199), Blue (/99), Purple (/49), Gold (/10), Green (/5) and 1/1 Platinum parallels as well as "super short-printed" Holo Dots cards. ... Among the autos will be rookies, legends and stars from today with Sophomore Acetate Signatures, Draft Night Acetate Signatures and Rookie Jersey Autographs in the mix along with Rookie Recon auto cards -- all will carry a max of 149 copies. ... Inserts will include Vector, Rookie Recon, Future Legends, Rock the Rim, Top of the Charts, All Systems Go, Rookie Review, World Travelers, Fleet Feet and Sky’s the Limit. Insert parallels will include Chase after Gold (/10) and 1/1 Platinum versions. ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $150.
