What's buzz-worthy: Donruss takes the field for another NFL season with boxes that are jam-packed with a little bit of everything and stuff like variations are now found on the per-case level.

The Basics: Hobby boxes will include 18 Rated Rookies and 12 parallels along with 42 insert cards along with the hits. And that's not all as there will be one base/rookie "no-name" card, while on the case level there will be two SSP inserts, four Optic Rated Rookies, two Canvas cards and two base variations. Again, those are by the case. ... The base set will include 300 base cards with 100 Rated Rookies atop that. Each will be paralleled -- see the details in the gallery. ... Among the inserts will be The Rookies, Gridiron Kings, Road to the Super Bowl, Champ is Here, Fans of the Game, Power Plus and Jersey Kings. ... Among the rarer inserts will be Super Bowl Downtown! cards as well as Night Moves, Gridiron Marvels and Rated Rookie Premium. ... Among the hits will be memorabilia and auto versions with Rated Rookies Portraits, Rookie Phenom Jersey autos, Jersey Kings, Leather Kings, Rookie Phenom Jersey Autographs, Canton Kings and All-Pro Kings. ... Packs will carry a suggested retail price of $8.33 ($149.94 per box).
