First Buzz: 2022 Leaf Metal Soccer cards

What's buzz-worthy: Leaf Metal Soccer arrives with "the greatest soccer checklist of all time," according to Leaf with stars of the past, present and future all in one spot with nothing but autographs in play.

The Basics: All cards in this one will be limited to no more than 40 serial-numbered copies and one box per case will be marked as a Red, White & Blue box where every card is /15 max. There will be Forever Linked dual-autos in play here with "some of the best pairings in soccer" as well as legends and "academy kids" who can make their marks later. Also in play beyond parallels (colors not detailed but there will be a few as you can see above) will be Lunararity cards that are /10 max. Every case will include at least two of these players -- Cristiano Ronaldo, Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku, Kevin DeBruyne, Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Pele, Robert Lewandowski, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Nazario, Steven Gerrard or Phil Foden. Other notables can be seen above and subsets/inserts will include Wonderkid and Champions. Leaf also promises 50-plus of the "hottest young future stars in the game are part of this set with [their] first-ever signed cards and in most cases first-ever card of any kind."

Update (June 3): Leaf revealed on Friday that every case of this one will include one triple- or quad-auto card while teasing these two as being part of the mix.
