What's buzz-worthy: National Treasures hits the pitch once again with the stars of the global game all in one spot as they work toward the World Cup later this year.

The Basics: A typical box will have eight hits while some will have one more auto, mem or booklet cards. (Other boxes will simply have one extra base card or parallel among the 1o total.) ... With only one or two base cards (/99) per box, the 200-card base set could be a challenging one for collectors to amass and it will be joined by parallels (noted in the gallery) and all parallels will also be in play for the two subsets in that one, Treasured Moments and Treasured Rookies. This one will include a "plethora of autographs" with Penmanship and Timeless Talents ink for stars from the past and present. Joining them will be more rare hits -- 1/1 Brand Logo autos, 1/1 Treasured Tags autos and 1/1 Treasured Tags as well as three types of booklet cards -- dual autos, triple autos and jumbo triple materials. There also will be memorabilia-only sets that include Franchise Treasures, jumbo swatches and more. In all, there are eight memorabilia sets, eight auto-mem sets and nine autograph sets in this one. ... Some boxes will include an 11th card -- printing plates are back but only in one box per case. ... Boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $1,000.
