What's buzz-worthy: Phoenix arrives for its seventh NFL edition with another colorful and meaty base set, plenty of inserts and more inside.

The Basics: Beyond the hits, there will be two Silver parallels, nine serial-numbered parallels, 12 Rookie Cards and nine inserts per box in this one just like last year. ... The base set will include 100 cards and then 100 Rookie Cards atop that with each having parallels such as Sprinkles (above) -- see the gallery for a full rundown there. ... Among the hits will be rookie patch autos (numbered as part of the base set), Paragon patch autos, Star Signs and Fire Fabrics for starters. ... Joining them on the insert front will be Contours cards as well as far rarer En Fuego, Phoenician, Metropolis and Archetype cards. ... These boxes carry a suggested retail price of $200.

Update: There also will 10-pack H2 boxes for this release (20 boxes per case, $100 per box SRP) with 90 cards inside. They'll pack three H2 Silvers, seven H2 parallels, seven inserts, one Lazer insert and 18 rookies per box. Autographs will be found two per case. See the parallel details in the gallery. This format will showcase the dazzling Lazer stock on everything.
