What's buzz-worthy: Select gets in the Octagon for a second bout with some new faces and new inclusions but the familiar parallel-packed action.

The Basics: Boxes will include 12 Prizms along with the hits, inserts and base cards here. The tiers once again are Concourse, Premier Level and Octagonside with each having their own parallels rainbows (not detailed in advance) but they will include Gold, Tie-dye and Silver, which are again teased as being "ultra-rare" for the Octagonside tier. ... Hits will include Select Signatures, Octagon Action and Select autographed memorabilia cards. No details were offered there on parallels but prepped images include Black and Gold versions. ... For inserts there will be at least three sets -- And New!, Global Icons and Numbers -- and each will have parallels with Black, Gold and Silver teased. ... A case-level chase this time will be Artistic Selection inserts -- which will not be found in every case. ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $150.

Update (April 21): There will be H2 boxes for this release with the "Disco" texture getting the main ride here. There will be four six-card packs per box (20 boxes per case) with the only guarantee being six parallels per box. Parallels will include Gold, Black and Green for base for starters and Signatures, Octagon Action Signatures and Rookie Signatures cards all also having parallels here in Disco form and with colors. ... They're set to arrive on June 1 with boxes carrying a $60 suggested retail price.
