What: 2022 Panini XR football cards

Box basics: Two autos (one being a rookie jersey auto) and one memorabilia card per 14-card box (14 boxes per case)

What's buzz-worthy: XR arrives for NFL fans once again with its small boxes once again loaded with hits and with its cases guaranteeing a 1/1 autographed card every time.

The Basics: Every two-pack box will include five inserts (one insert and four parallels) atop the hits and base cards here as part of a hobby-only release. The 100-card set will have a number of parallels (see gallery below) with X short-printed parallel cards once again in play along with new "case-hit inserts" called Rated R, Rated XR, X-Clusive and X-Ploits. Among more standard inserts will be Rookie Exposè cards. ... Among the hits will be rookie autographs, X-ponential Ink and Rookie Triple Swatch autos -- with sock, helmets, gloves and hats among the swatches -- along with Team Materials. ... Packs once again carry a suggested retail price of $75 apiece ($150 per box).
