What's buzz-worthy: Formula 1 gets a third lap on the Topps Chrome track with this one, which will arrive in a couple of hobby formats with each packing plenty of racing energy.

The Basics: This one will once again include a 200-card base set comprised of F1 and F2 drivers as well as some subset that include cars. Some will have image variations to chase. Parallels for each card once again will include at least 19 versions in hobby packs -- a slightly changed rainbow vs. last year. It will include standard Refractors as well as Checker Flag X-Fractors, Purple (/399), Purple Checker (/199), Pink (/75), Purple & Green, Gold (/50), Gold Wave (/50), Gold Checker (/50), Gold & Purple, Orange (/25), Orange Wave (/25), Orange Checker (/25), Orange & Red, Red (/5), Red Wave (/5), Red Checker (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors and printing plates. ... Inserts will include Constructors Coalition (teammates), Speed Demons, 1968 Topps Hot Rods and Art du Grand Prix. The first three inserts will have Gold, Gold Wave, Orange, Red, Superfractors and printing plates at the same volumes as mentioned before. The Art cards will only have Orange, Red, Supers and plates. ... Autographs will be only found in hobby boxes and have the following Refractor parallels -- Green (/99), Gold (/50), Gold Wave (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors as well as printing plates just like last year.

LITE boxes will have exclusive RayWave parallels at least four times per. They will have Black & White, Green, Pink, Red and 1/1 Black RayWave cards and same volumes as other parallels. LITE boxes all appear to have other Refractors in the mix, too. Inserts also will be in play here but autographs are not included in that format.
