What's buzz-worthy: A new high-end line from Topps arrives with a pair of autographs in every box -- a mix of big potential with a guarantee of Gold Chrome every time.

The Basics: The base set here will be 150 cards with stars from the past and present on a "gold-embellished version of the Topps Chrome design" -- 50 stars, 50 rookies and 50 legends. Each will have Refractors (/99) as well as Mini-diamond Gold Etch (/50), RayWave (/25), Lava Gold (/10) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels. ... There will be Gold Framed Hall of Famer autos (/TBD) with Emerald (/25), Onyx (/10), Ruby (/5) and 1/1 Platinum versions. Joining them will be Gold Framed Hall of Famer Plaque autos (/TBD) with Onyx, Ruby and Platinum versions (same volume). There also will be Chrome Gold Etch autos (/TBD) with Blue (/50), Rose Gold (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor versions for those who like their Chromes. Lastly, there will be a selection of 1/1 Gilded Collection cut autos with "some of the most prolific athletes and influential historic and pop culture figures from the past" such as Babe Ruth, Jim Thorpe, Ernest Hemingway and James Madison for starters.
