What's buzz-worthy: The annual Holiday version of Topps baseball cards made its initial debut online today with it likely still to come on the retail aisle soon.

The Basics: The base set will be 200 cards -- a mix of notables from Series 1, Series 2 and Update -- and then there are three types variants as you can see noted on the checklist that have extra holiday touches. Also in the mix will be die-cut ornament cards (one per box) as well as parallels. ... Hits will include Relics, Holiday Relics and even some hits for Santa Claus and others in holiday lore. There also will be rarer autographed Relics in play as well as standard ink that will include a number of young stars. ... Boxes carried a suggested retail price of $24.99 via Topps.
