What's buzz-worthy: MLS arrives for collectors once again next spring with a new crop of rookies, plenty of parallels and more all in one spot.

The Basics: The base set once again will be 200 cards with the last 25 being Pitch Prodigies (rookies) just like previous years. They will also have parallels -- Blue (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25, hobby-only), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black. There will also be image variations in play with those only having a 1/1 Black parallel. ... Among the inserts are Big City Strikers (one in 144 packs), International Players (six per box), Topps '22 Minis (four per box) and Scholarly (four per box). Each will have Orange, Red and Black parallels with the same volumes as base parallels. ... The hits will include MLS Relics (/TBD) with Gold, Orange and Black parallels (same volumes) while Nameplate Patches (/4) cards are back will be in the mix along with 1/1 Team Crest Patches. The autographs in this one once again will parallel the base set for selected players. Some Relics will have an autographed parallel (/TBD) with 1/1 Black versions.
