What's buzz-worthy: Topps Sterling takes to the diamond for another season with the same format that it used in previous years -- a two-pack high-end edition that's nothing but hits.

The Basics: Each master box has two mini boxes with one including an autographed Relic (/25 max), while the second includes an auto-Relic or a 1/1 Relic, which also could be a 1/1 auto-Relic card. The 1/1s once again are found twice per case. ... There will be themed mini boxes just like previous versions of this one with the subject revealed once the master box is opened -- and the auto Relic or Relic from that box will tie into the theme. Among the possibilities this time will be Sterling Seasons, Sterling Strikes and Sterling Swings. All cards will start at 25 copies and have parallels -- Blue (three pieces, /10), Red (four pieces, /5) and 1/1 Silvers that have five Relic pieces. ... Joining them will be Sterling Splendor jumbo patch autos (/5) with Red (/3) and 1/1 Silver versions. Joining these will be Sterling Sets Dual Auto Relics with two players' Relics and on-card ink (/15) with Red (/5) and 1/1 Silver versions as well as Sterling Sets Triple Autograph Relics where three players get the nod (/10) with the same parallels. There also will be Sterling Debuts for 2022 rookies (/25) with the same parallels and pieces per tier. ... Among the Unique Relics will be eight 1/1 sets -- jersey letter patches, bat knobs, autographed bat knobs, bat nameplates, autographed bat nameplates, cut autos, legendary Relics and new legendary cut auto Relics.
