What's buzz-worthy: Tribute drops for a new season with the familiar three-and-three format of the past but with the newest rookies, all-time greats and more all in play here.

The Basics: Among the unique features this year? Tributes to Albert Pujols and Ichiro Suzuki -- sometimes on the same card. They will be part of the Career Achievement Award Continuity program of past years with 1/1 autos as well as a dual-auto card in this release. ... Rookie Cards once again will be found just two times per case and there will be 90 past and present players in the base set and just 10 cards for the rookies. Parallels will include Green (/99), Purple (/50), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black versions just like this year for both sets. ... Among the hits will be Tribute autos (/TBD) with a deep volume of parallels for each card -- Blue (/150), Green (/99), Purple (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black as well as printing plates just like this year. Engraved Greats autos of last year become Solid Gold Greats (/TBD) this year with Orange, Red and Black versions to chase. Joining them will be Tribute To MVPs autos (/TBD) with the same three parallels. Those will be season or World Series MVP winners. Other autos will include Iconic Perspectives cards (/TBD) as well as League Inauguration (/99) autos and Tribute Tandem book autos (/25). These inserts will have Orange, Red and Black parallels except for the books, which will have only Red and Black. ... For memorabilia cards, there will be Milestone Relics (/10) as well as Stamp of Approval Relics (/150) with MLB Authentication-approved pieces as well as dual Relics (/150) and triple Relics also limited to that volume. Each of the /150 sets will have the same Green-Purple-Orange-Red-Black rainbow of parallels. ... For auto Relics, there will be new Stadium Signatures cards (/TBD) with stadium seat pieces  Red (/10) and 1/1 Black versions as well as 1/1 patch versions. They will be joined in the overall lineup by standard patch autos (/50) with Red and Black versions. ... There also will be 1953 Topps framed buybacks as box-toppers in some boxes.
