What's buzz-worthy: The now-annual release of Topps MLB cards for across the pond has arrived with a number of new inclusions to go with what's essentially a parallel product with a smaller set and stars from all three flagship series in one spot.

The Basics: This one will include 220 cards in the base set with stars from all three Topps series this year. Parallels were not detailed in advance but they will be in there based on the mocks. ... There will be just three insert sets here -- 1997-98 Merlin Premier Gold Redux, Significant Statistics and Career Year cards. Autographs are likely tougher finds in this one but the checklist includes almost 50 players with a number of young stars and notable veterans. Among them? Bobby Witt Jr., Cal Ripken Jr., Derek Jeter, Don Mattingly, Ichiro Suzuki, Julio Rodriguez, Juan Soto, Mike Trout, Pete Alonso, Ronald Acuña Jr., Steven Kwan, Shohei Ohtani, Spencer Strider, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Wander Franco for starters. ... Boxes of this one carried an initial price of £105.
