What's buzz-worthy: A new year of NBA cardboard arrives with an insert card in every pack, ink in every box and plenty of star power young and old all in the same spot.

The Basics: There will be 24 insert cards per box in this one just like last year. ... The set size was not revealed in advance, but parallels will include Red Backs, Purple, Silver (/199), Green (/99), Gravity (/75), Artist Proof (/25), Artist Proof Gold (/10) and 1/1 Artist Proof Black. ... The hits here will include Art Signatures, Hot Signatures and Rookie Ink for starters with hobby-only Red (/25) parallels. ... Among the inserts will be Sheesh, Attack The Rack, JAM-tastic, Hoops Throwback, Spark Plugs, HIPnotized, Highlights, We Got Next, Now Playing, Ignition, Rookie Special, Road to the Finals, Championship Moments, Finals MVP, Champions, Parade, Presentations and Extreme Team cards. ... Packs once again will carry a suggested retail price of $5 ($120 per box).
