What's buzz-worthy: Recon gets a fourth run on the NBA calendar with "with a large selection of autograph, insert and parallel content" according to Panini with plenty of the rookie and star power in there, too.

The Basics: Boxes of this one once again will include 60 cards and those will include 20 inserts atop the ink. ... Base and rookie parallels will include Holo, Bronze (/299), Red (/199), Blue (/99), Purple (/49), Gold (/10), Green (/5) and 1/1 Platinum parallels as well as "super short-printed" Holo Dots cards just like last time. ... Among the autos will be rookies, legends and stars from today with Novice Patch autos, Seasoned Pro autos, Archetype Signatures, Sophomore Acetate autos, Draft Night Acetate Signatures and Rookie Jersey autos. ... Among the inserts will be new The Mighty and Rookie Portraits sets with parallels limited to no more than 75 copies (Purple /75 and Effect /25 for starters) and they will be joined by Gala (/8), Fuzion and Contours cards as well as other inserts such as Vector, Rookie Recon, Future Legends, Rock the Rim, Rookie Review, World Travelers, Fleet Feet and Sky’s the Limit. ... Boxes carry an increased suggested retail price of $160.
