What's buzz-worthy: A new brand from Topps for the stars of the basketball court is one that keeps it simple -- two autos and a third card in the box and that's it.

The Basics: There will be 100 cards in the base set, according to the checklist (linked above) with past and present players in the mix. Insert cards will be capped at no more than 49 copies and those its will include Ice Water, Monsters Of The Deep, Architects, Knockout and Triple Double. Parallels are noted on the odds file linked above. ... Among the auto-mem hits will be horizontal and vertical rookie three-patch cards, primes, triples and rookies. Among the auto-only cards will be Raindrops, Serendipitous Sigs, Re-Markable and Full Court Signs. All standard autos will be /49. Parallels are noted below.
