What's buzz-worthy: Topps' third release for the NCAA prospect ranks in pack form and with school colors and logos arrives with this one, which offers a new look at NIL players as the college season closes and NFL Draft chatter intensifies.

The Basics: The base set of this one will include 100 top stars on Chrome stock and they'll all have at at least 11 parallels. They include standard Refractors, Speckle one per box and then Blue (/135), Pink Lava (/100), Green Mini-Diamond (/99), Yellow (/75), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5), Red Lava (/5) and 1/1 Supers. ... There will be seven insert sets to chase here -- Elements Of The Game, Gunslingers & Bandits, Studious Stars, Signs Of The Times, Bowman Masterpieces, Let's Go! Chrome (/50) and Shock & Awe. The first five sets will have Speckle, Prism, X-Fractor and Superfractor parallels. The last two will only have Supers for a parallel chase with the standard Shock cards falling one in 174 packs. ... For autos, there will be standard ink (Best of 2023), Elements Of The Game, Gunslingers & Bandits, Bowman Masterpiece, dual autos (/25) and triple autos (/10). The Best autos will have Refractors (/110), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/10), Red Lava (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors as well as printing plates. Elements, Bandits and Masterpieces will have Refractors (/75), Gold (/50), Orange (/25) and Supers. The multiplayer ink will only have Reds (/10 for duals and /5 for triples) and Supers. Rounding things out will be Prospect Jumbo Relic autos with Honor Roll (/49) and 1/1 Valedictorian cards.
