What's buzz-worthy: Historic Autographs looks back at the Civil War with a new release that's more about hits and chase cards over a base set with a number of potential finds from handwriting samples to hair.

The Basics: There will be only 155 cases made for this one with "special" inserts being DNA hair cards, cut autos, Abraham Lincoln funeral rose relics, Lincoln handwriting samples and Lincoln handwriting/hair cards. Among the other inclusions in a box will include low-numbered foil cards, handwriting samples, touched document relics or 1/1 art cards found in every ninth box. ... Cut signatures will be found in every other box with five Lincoln signatures, two Ulysses S. Grant signatures, two Robert E. Lee signatures and six Jefferson Davis signatures in the release. Funeral rose cards are one in 18 boxes, while Lincoln handwriting cards are one in four and his cards adding a piece of hair are one in 37. Other handwriting cards are one in six. Standard DNA hair cards for others are found in every fifth box. ... All foil cards (/10 max) are three or four per box here.
