What's buzz-worthy: Absolute arrives for NFL fans for another season with plenty of the familiar but also with some new players and other touches that add to the brand's long-running legacy.

The Basics: Each pack will include five cards with at least one of the three packs in a box including a Rookie Premiere Material autograph just like previous years. Also dropping in every box? Six base cards, two parallels, one Rookie Card and one other insert. Parallels were not detailed in advance but the base set here will include 100 veteran cards and 100 rookies. ... Among inserts will be Explosive, Glass and Kaboom! cards (with parallels) at the case level. ... Among hits will be Rookie Premiere Materials cards with multiple swatches and memorabilia types in varying volumes. There also will be Iconic Ink, Tools Of The Trade, jumbo materials, Pro Bowl Souvenirs and Ground Hoggs for starters. ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $200.
