What's buzz-worthy: After some time in the shop, Panini America revives Prime for NASCAR fans with some new touches such as the Prime Number Signatures (above) that showcase laps led with each card limited to a digit in the total.

The Basics: Each box will include one base card or parallel atop the hits and this time the base set is a tiered take with basic, Hall of Fame, Champions and Trackside versions. ... Among memorabilia cards will be Race-used cards with as many as four swatches per card and inclusions being firesuits, tires and sheet metal. Prime Jumbos also will be in play with plenty of big-swatch play. Meanwhile, Names and Nicknames cards will cut out key words and lay those over memorabilia pieces that include large tire pieces. ... Autograph card sets will include Prime Signatures, Hall of Fame Signatures and dual-auto cards with past and present stars all in play. An auto-mem set here will be Midnight Silhouettes as well as Signature Swatches and Souvenir Signatures cards. ... Parallels were not detailed in advance but they will be part of this on on all fronts. ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $250.
