What's buzz-worthy: Pieces of the Past begins a multi-release themed approach to history-based memorabilia cards with this one, which will include a bounty for the person who is the first to take on the challenge of collecting all 10 series as well as rewards for being among the first to complete each one. This first release? Notable business leaders, inventors and founders.

The Basics: The first 100 cards here will include its first cards for Guccio Gucci, Charles Lewis Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, Jacob Beam, John Walker, William E. Boeing, Milton S. Hershey and John Harvard for starters with the pieces in cards being a mix of things. There will be handwriting samples, cut autos, The Bar 1/1 cut autos, pieces of documents from the 1700s and 1800s, stock certificates, company documents, vintage ads, clothes emblems, bond certificates and more. There also will be jumbo pieces as well as duals, triples and quads in play as well as 1/1s. The checklist of subjects can be seen above. ... Ten-box cases carry a suggested retail price of $749.

Future/bounty info: The next four releases will be American Influence, Villains, Presidential and Ancients with those continuing numbers and hitting the halfway point for a larger bounty promotion from the company. The first 10 for each series who complete the 100-card set will get five free cases of the next release as you can see how the company announced it below. The first to complete all 10 sets will receive an oversized cut auto card of The Beatles as seen below.
