First Buzz: 2023 Pieces of the Past Keepsake Edition

What's buzz-worthy: Pieces of the Past goes high-end with an array of embedded inclusions not seen in cards before and with some pairing cut autographs with other items such as a $1,000 bill or diamonds.

The Basics: All Pieces Relics will show actual documents the enclosed piece came from on the card backs (see gallery) as part of this release that was more than a year in the making. It's one that includes authentic and original relics from the biggest brand names in the world -- Rolex, Ferrari, Chanel, Patek Philippe, Bugatti, Tiffany, Porsche, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Rolls Royce for starters. Pieces will come "from original watches, handbags, cars, diamonds, gemstones, gold and other artifacts," according to the company. There will be 1/1 cut autographs, emblem cards and then dual- triple- and quad-memorabilia cards. Also in play will be gem Relics with diamonds, opals and pearls for starters, while some document cuts will include authentic seals -- the one-of-a-kind adornment to letters in the past.
