What's buzz-worthy: Big League is back with "an all-new collecting format as well as some of the most exciting, fun, and colorful designs in the hobby," according to Topps.

The Basics: The base set will be 310 cards using tiers -- Common (200), Uncommon Foil (50), Rare Blue Foil (25), Super Rare Red Foil (25) and Legendary Gold Foil (10) -- with each of them having just two foiled parallels, Black (/25) and 1/1 Foilfractors. The Legendary cards will be found one per case, Reds four per case, Blues one per box and Uncommon Foil one per pack. ... There will be eight insert sets to chase here -- Eight-bit Ballers, Mascots, Mascots Mania Foil Variations, Roll Call Wildstyle Edition, City Slickers, Big Leaguers, Game Day Drip Gold Foil and LET'S GO! cards. ... Slickers will showcase City Edition uniforms (one in four packs), Big Leaguers are a nod back to 1992 Topps Kids with work from artist Drake Cereal (same odds), Drip cards are for "drippiest fits" and are "limited" while GO! cards are "super limited" and aim to get collectors "up, get amped and get going to chase this super limited set of bombastic chrome cards sprinkled throughout a variety of Topps Baseball products in 2023." These will have Red Refractors (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors. ... Ballers cards will be one in four packs, while Mascots will drop two per box and then the Mania cards are one in four cases showing past and present furballs. The Wildstyle cards are one in four packs with additions from street artist CES. ... For autographs, there will be Big League Blue Foil and Opening Act Blue Foil. Each will have Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Foilfractors. Also in play will be ink for City Slickers, Eight-Bit Ballers and Wildstyle -- all of those limited to 25 copies per card. ... Found one per box will be Become a Big-leaguer scratch-off cards good for a shot to be on a 2024 Topps Big League card and then Social Media Follow Back redemptions good for a player follow on Instagram.
